What we've got here is failure to communicate

Ever feel like you're trying to communicate something to someone and it feels like a war? Do you feel defensive? Like you have to protect yourself? What should you do? Stand your ground? Or find another way to communicate? Have you ever stepped back to think about how your message is being perceived by others? Maybe you should. That does not mean you are right or wrong. It just means that you might have to find another way to deliver your message so that the people listening will understand what you are trying to communicate. It's not the responsibility of your audience to understand your message. It's your responsibility to communicate your message in a way that your audience will understand.
